Ibrahim
Eddy Mark, a founding Partner in City
Law Firm, a firm of Solicitors based in
Abuja, Federal Capital Territory of Nigeria,
and presently the General Secretary of the
Nigerian Bar Association.
He is a 1989 Law Graduate of Rivers State
University of Science and Technology, Port
Harcourt. He did his National Youth Service
Corp Programme in Maiduguri, Borno State
between 1990-1991 and thereafter ventured
uninterrupted into private Legal Practice.
He previously held a stint as a Branch
Secretary and Chairman in the Local Bar at
Maiduguri and lastly held office as National
Financial Secretary NBA between 2002 to
2004. He has represented the NBA as member
of Council of Legal Education between 2002
to 2005.
He was also member of the Committee that
drafted the Borno State High Court (Civil
Procedure) Rules. An avid sportsman, he once
held office as Chairman Borno State Football
Association and Nigerian Cycling Federation,
Borno State.
A consummate and avid reader.
He has participated in several Workshops,
Lectures, Seminars and Conferences
presenting papers dealing on contemporary
issues germane to societal development. He
was in 1998 and 2004 presented with Merit
Awards for outstanding contributions to the
NBA.
