Mrs. Oluwafunmilayo Ajike Roberts

Mrs. Oluwafunmilayo Ajike Roberts, a member of the Governing Board of the Institute of Continuing Legal Education of the NBA is also the Principal Partner of Funmi Roberts & Co. She is an accredited Mediator with the U.K-based Centre For Effective Dispute Resolution (CEDR) and a Lead Trainer in Nigeria for U.K.-based CEDR-NCMG Training Faculty. She is also a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (U.K) and a Member of the London Court of International Arbitration.
Mrs. Roberts is a graduate of Obafemi Awolowo University Ile-Ife where she received the Bachelor of Laws and Master of Laws Degrees in 1981 and 1988 respectively and has published series of publications on different contemporary topics. She also has various academic qualifications as an Assistant Lecturer, Faculty of Law University of Ibadan, in Administrative Law, Law of Equity and Trusts and was the part-time Ag. Executive Secretary, of the Obafemi Awolowo Foundation.
She has served as a Counsel in the office of Administrator-General and Public Trustee and has unparallel experience in Pro bono services at the Nigerian Legal Aid Council and the Counselling Centre of FIDA, Oyo State offering free legal aid and counselling services to impoverished women and children. She is maintains Membership with the National Executive Council of the NBA, the International Bar Association, the Panel of Neutrals Lagos Multi-Door Courthouse and the Federal High Court Abuja, Maritime Arbitrators Association of Nigeria, the Federacion Internacional De Abogadas –FIDA (International Federation of Women Lawyers), Business Recovery and Insolvency Practitioners (BRIPAN); etc.
She is till date a serving Member on the Board of Trustees/Governors of various bodies, schools and organizations nd has received several awards for her excellence and contribution to the society like the Women of Excellence Award, 2001 by Childolescent and family Survival Organization-CAFSO), the Obafemi Awolowo University Postgraduate Fellowship Award and the Special Appreciation Award by Ibadan Metropolitan Lions Club amongst others.
